The recipe for Swedish meatballs is a delicious European dish with a Mexican flavor. They are delicious beef dumplings with spices and a beef broth sauce. Very easy to prepare and with an incomparable flavor.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 750 grams ground beef, beef
  • 1/2 onions
  • 25 grams breadcrumbs
  • 30 grams table butter
  • 80 milliliters milk
  • 1 egg
  • salt, to taste
  • black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 tablespoons ground cardamom
  • olive oils, to taste
  • 90 grams butter
  • 40 grams flour
  • 500 milliliters beef broth
  • 100 milliliters liquid cream

Preparation

In a large bowl we toss the minced meat, the salt, the ground cardamom, the black pepper and the nutmeg. Later we add the beaten egg, the milk with the bread and finally the caramelized onion. We remove to integrate the ingredients well.
We are taking equal portions of meat with a spoon and preparing our meatballs for a tray. Go frying them in olive oil or butter in batches and reserving them and then add them to the sauce.
For the sauce, we prepare a thick-bottomed pan, melt the butter, add the flour and cook it for a few minutes until it turns brown with milk. At this time we add the meat stock, stirring constantly so that no lumps are formed, and let it cook for five minutes. Add the cream and boil in the sauce our meatballs for fifteen minutes. If the sauce is too thick we can add small portions of meat broth or water.

PRESENTATION

Serve on a plate with bread.

TIPS

If you do not have beef broth, you can use the one sold at the supermarket.
