Ingredients

4 portions
  • 1/4 cups sauce, Huichol Traditional®
  • 2 cups Water, or the amount needed
  • 2 beefsteak tomatoes
  • 1/2 white onions
  • 6 morita chili peppers, Seedless
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 kilo beef steak, (medallions)
  • 1/2 cups oil

Preparation

Cook the tomatoes, onions, chilies and garlic cloves in hot water until they soften.
Blend with the sauce and a little cooking water, salt and pepper.
Seal the medallions in a pan with a little oil, empty the sauce on these and finish cooking.
Accompany with refried beans and serve.

PRESENTATION

Accompany with vegetables.

TIPS

You can substitute the medallions for the beef cut you prefer.
