Ingredients

4 portions
  • 2 chunks beef steak, 2 cm wide
  • 4 tablespoons black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 cup Red wine
  • 6 tablespoons Great Value® salt-free butter
  • to taste Great Value® olive oil
  • to taste Great Value® salt

Preparation

Heat the oven to 250 degrees Celsius.
Season the fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
Place a large skillet that can also be placed in the oven over medium heat and heat a light layer of olive oil.
When the oil is hot add the steaks and seal by 3 on one side. Turn the steaks and bake for 3-4 minutes or until they are at the end you want.
Place the fillets on your plates and cover with aluminum so they do not get cold.
Place the pan back on the stove over medium heat and add the tino wine. Kitchen for approx. 8 minutes or until the sauce has reduced to about 1/4 cup.
Add the butter and beat with a balloon whisk until it is 100% incorporated. Pour the sauce over the steaks and serve.
