These steak tacos with bacon are my favorite tacos. The meat is cooked together with the bacon and it has onions, mushrooms, green peppers and chile serrano. They are served in flour tortillas with refried beans and melted cheese. A Mexican delight

Ingredients

14 servings
  • 500 grams of bacon chopped
  • 3 1/2 kilos of steak finely sliced
  • English sauces
  • Salt
  • 3 1/4 onions chopped into thin slices
  • 5 green bell peppers chopped and seedless
  • 2 cans of mushroom sliced, the cans as of 380 gr each
  • 8 Serrano cpeppers chopped
  • 4 spoonfuls of vegetable oil
  • 250 grams of Manchego cheese grated
  • 30 flour tortillas
  • refried beans
  • maggi sauces
  • black pepper

    Preparation

    In a cold pot the bacon over medium heat. Once browned, remove and drain the fat on an absorbent paper towel. Reserve bacon fat.
    Season the meat cut into slices (or strips) with English sauce, maggi sauce, salt and pepper.
    Fry the meat in the fat of the bacon until it takes color. Remove and reserve.
    In the same pot, add the onion and let it stand. Add the green peppers and cook until soft.
    In another pot, fry the canned mushrooms together with the serrano peppers with a little oil. Then add them to the pepper mixture, add the reserved meat and cook everything at once.
    Finally, add the reserved bacon as well as the cheeses to melt.
    Serve on flour tortillas with refried beans and hot sauce.

    TIPS

    It is also rich for cakes or sandwiches.
