This recipe for beef steak carries a jalapeño sauce cooked with white wine. The fillet is first sealed in a pan and finished cooking in the oven. It is perfect for a dinner with many people as you quickly cook a large amount

Ingredients

10 portions
  • 1 kilo steak
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 4 jalapeno Peppers
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1 cup beef bouillon
  • 2 tomatoes, peeled, seeded and minced
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 bars butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh coriander, chopped

Preparation

Seal the fillet in half the oil and butter, set aside. Preheat the oven to 200 centigrade.
Add the rest of the oil and butter and season the chopped garlic and the jalapeño pepper. Add the flour and leave a minute to cook. Add the tomato and cumin, leave a minute and add the white wine, leave a few minutes.
Add the beef broth and let the sauce reduce. Add the chopped cilantro.
Slice the steak and place it in a pyrex very close (following the shape of the steak). Bake for 20 minutes.
Place on a platter and bathe with the hot jalapeño sauce.

PRESENTATION

Serve with french fries and stuffed zucchini.
