Ingredients

6 portions
  • 3 tablespoons garlic powder, for the spice mix
  • 3 tablespoons onion powder, for the spice mix
  • 3 tablespoons paprika, for the spice mix
  • 1 cup flour, for the spice mix
  • to taste salt, for the spice mix
  • to taste black pepper
  • 1 kilo chicken wing
  • 2 cups pineapple, cut into cubes, for the sauce
  • 1/4 cups Pineapple juice, for the sauce
  • 3 tablespoons raw sugar, for the sauce
  • 1/2 cups Salsa Huichol® habanero hot sauce, for the sauce
  • 1/4 cups butter, for the sauce
  • 1/2 cups sour cream, for the dip
  • 1/2 cups mayonnaise, for the dip
  • 1/2 cups cream cheese, for the dip
  • 1/4 cups Salsa Huichol® habanero hot sauce, for the dip
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder, for the dip
  • 1 habanero pepper, finely chopped, for the dip
  • enough celery, in branches, to accompany
  • enough potato wedges, To accompany

Preparation

In a bowl, mix the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, flour, salt and pepper.
On a tray, place the chicken wings and sprinkle with the previous mixture and bake for 30 minutes at 180 ° C.
In a saucepan over low heat, fry the wings for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
For the sauce, in a pot over medium heat, cook the pineapple, the pineapple juice, the brown sugar for 15 minutes or, until it has a thick consistency, add the Huichol® Habanera Sauce, cook for 10 more minutes add the butter and remove of fire. Reservation.
For the dip, mix the cream, the mayonnaise, the cream cheese, add the Huichol® Habanera Sauce, the garlic powder and the habanero pepper. Reservation.
In a bowl add the wings, mix with the previous sauce and reserve.

PRESENTATION

On an extended plate accompanied by a habanero dip.

TIPS

You can substitute the muscovado sugar for pineapple jam and give it a sweeter taste.
