The barbecue chops are a very tasty dish to watch a football game or a barbecue. The recipe for barbecue bourbon chops is a variation of the traditional recipe with a bourbon whiskey sauce.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 1 kilo beef chop
  • 1/4 cups bourbon
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Tabasco sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons English sauce
  • to taste black pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups pineapple juice

Preparation

Pre warm the oven to 220 degrees Celsius.
Take the chops and season them with salt and pepper. In two large baking trays, place on top of them two aluminum foil cans, inside which are the chops with the pineapple juice. Bake for 1 hour.
While the chops are baked, prepare the charcoal and the sauce.
In a deep bowl, mix the bourbon, the honey, the hoisin sauce, the tabasca, the soy sauce and the English sauce.
Remove the chops from the oven and cut each rib in half. With a brush paint the chops with the sauce and cook on the charcoal (barbecue).
Cook for 2-3 minutes and change sides, repaint the chops every 3 minutes during cooking.
Cook to the desired term and serve.

PRESENTATION

Accompany the remaining sauce.

TIPS

Bourbon is a type of whiskey, if you do not have it you can use another whiskey instead.
