The chalupas are fried tortillas covered with sauce, onion and beef / pork / shredded chicken with red or green sauce, a real treat.

Ingredients

12 portions
  • 24 corn tortillas
  • 400 grams chicken, or pork / tinga boiled and shredded
  • 500 grams fresh cheese
  • 1 onion
  • 1 cup tomtato, pureed (for red sauce)
  • 1 cup green tomato, pureed sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 4 serrano peppers
  • oils, to fry
  • lettuce, chopped to serve slice

Preparation

First prepare the green sauce and the red sauce. Place the tomato puree in a pan with a little oil and in another pan with a little oil the green tomato puree. Cook until both change color and are well cooked.
Blend the tomato puree with 1 clove of garlic, 2 pieces of serrano pepper and 1/4 of the chopped onion. Repeat the same with the green tomato puree.
Heat tortillas in oil until soft.
Assemble the boats by placing an omelet, over it the chicken or pork or shredded tinga, a few slices of onion, a spoonful of red or green sauce, a spoonful of fresh cheese and a little lettuce.

PRESENTATION

Serve a red and green chalupa on a plate.

Las originales de Puebla no llevan queso fresco, las salsas de hacen con chile morita y las tortillas son ovaladas y pellizcadas alrededor. Se monta cebollita picada y arroz blanco

Lo siento amiga, esta bien como las preparas pero soy poblana y amante de las chalupas y así como lo describes tú es una ofensa para los poblanos estaría bien si le pones chalupas estilo (el nombre que te agrade) y ya, omite ponerle poblanas

La receta original lleva manteca y la cebolla es picada, van con carne de puerco deshebrada y no lleva lechuga ni queso yo viví muchos años en Puebla.tu receta puede que esté muy rica pero, no son las originales chalupas poblanas.
