Chicken in Mexican Sauces and Red Wine

This rich chicken is boiled in a broth flavored with red wine and many Mexican sauces, it is super easy to make and very rich. It is a homemade dish that you can prepare everyone at home and pamper them. Do not wait more.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 12 Chicken pieces
  • 4 tablespoons garlic
  • 4 tablespoons vegetal oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 7 cups Water
  • 1 bottle Red wine
  • 4 tablespoons English sauce
  • 4 tablespoons maggi sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chipotle sauce, (to taste)
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 4 potatoes, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons black pepper

Preparation

In a large pot heat the oil, brown the garlic and onion for 5 minutes over medium heat.
Add chicken, potatoes and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add the water, the red wine and all the sauces.
Let it boil over low heat; Cover and cook for 45 minutes or until the chicken is well cooked.
Remove the lid and cook for 15 more minutes to allow a large part of the broth to evaporate and the sauce to thicken. It serves.

PRESENTATION

Decorate your dish with cilantro or parsley.

TIPS

Try the sauce during cooking, if you think you need more salt or pepper add it, if it is too salty add more water.
