Ingredients

6 servings
  • 1 kilo of chicken breast in strips
  • 6 spoonfuls of sherry
  • 4 spoonfuls of sugar
  • 1/2 Cup of soy sauce
  • 4 spoonfuls of vegetable oil
  • 1/4 of Cup of scallion chopped
  • 1/2 Cup of peanut butter
  • 1/4 of Cup of chicken soup hot
  • 3 spoonfuls of soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 spoonfuls of brown sugars
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of Red chili pepper

    Preparation

    Combine in a deep bowl the sherry, the sugar, the 1/2 cup of soy sauce, the oil and the chopped chives. Add the chicken and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
    Heat a grill at medium heat and prepare skewers with wooden sticks, placing 3-4 strips per toothpick.
    Cook each brochette approx. 4-5 minutes on each side until chicken is well cooked.
    Prepare the peanut sauce combining peanut butter, chicken broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, lemon juice, chopped garlic and red chili in a blender and blend for 2 minutes.
    Serve the skewers accompanied by the peanut sauce.

    PRESENTATION

    Place the skewers on a white plate and accompany with the peanut sauce.

    TIPS

    If you do not have peanut butter, you can process 1 cup of peanuts in a food processor.
