Ingredients

6 portions
  • 1 cup natural yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3/4 teaspoons cumin powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons tumeric
  • 1/2 tablespoons ginger
  • 6 chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons onion, minced
  • 250 grams mashed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cups whipping cream
  • 1 branch fresh coriander
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cups Water
  • 1/4 teaspoons ginger, grated
  • pinches cinnamon
  • 1 leave bay (laurel)
  • 1/4 teaspoons curry

Preparation

In a large bowl combine the yogurt, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, cumin, tumeric, garam masala, garlic, pepper, 1/2 tablespoon of ginger, salt and chicken diced. Stir and marinate for 4 hours. After the time, heat the grill and brown the chicken until it is cooked. Cover and reserve the chicken.
Make the sauce by melting the butter, add the onion until it is translucent. Add 1/4 teaspoon of ginger, tomato puree and water. Put salt and pepper. Season as 10 minutes.
Add the chicken with its juice, stir and add the cilantro, the curry, the bay leaf and the pinch of cinnamon. Then, add the cream and cook over a low heat for 15 more minutes

PRESENTATION

Decorate with cilantro or sprinkle with sliced ​​almonds.

TIPS

It is served with white basmati rice and Nan bread.

Me gustó mucho Al final le agregué casi el doble de especias ya que sentí que le faltaba un poco de sabor. Yo dejé el pollo marinando toda una noche en el yoghurt y quedó muy suave. Sin duda lo voy a volver a preparar!
