Ingredients

4 portions
  • 1 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 3/4 cups ketchup, (Ketchup)
  • 1/3 cups brown sugar
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces (2 breasts, 2 wings, 2 legs, and 2 thighs)
  • black pepper, for the chicken

Preparation

Put in a pot: balsamic vinegar, catsup sauce, brown sugar, finely chopped garlic clove, Worcestershire sauce, dijon mustard, salt and pepper.
Put the pot over medium heat until it reduces to 1/3, for 15-20 minutes.
Preheat the grill on medium heat. Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
Put 1/2 cup of the sauce in a saucer.
Grill the chicken on the grill for 10 minutes each side, varnishing the chicken with the barbecue sauce for the last 2-3 minutes on each side.
Put the chicken on a plate and leave 5 minutes before serving.
Serve with extra barbecue sauce on the side.
