Preparation
Season the chicken. Brown it in hot oil for 10 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside on a plate.
Grind the peeled green tomatoes, chilies, cilantro, onion and garlic in the blender. Season with salt and pepper. Put the sauce in a large saucepan.
Cut the potatoes in half and boil for 10 minutes. Then add them to the sauce with the chicken and the juice that has resulted.
Cook over medium heat until the chicken and potatoes are well done, about 40 minutes.
