This recipe is widely used by people who have certain healthy eating habits. It's great for breakfast. And more accompanied by a good coffee.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup of oats milled
  • 2 spoonfuls of cornmeal
  • 1 pinch of Salt
  • enough of Water
  • to taste of chicken shredded and stewed, to fill
  • to taste of Asadero cheese to fill
  • to taste of egg scrambled, to fill

    Preparation

    Mix the ground oats, the two tablespoons of cornmeal, the salt.
    Add the water little by little and move to form a moldable mass. Then it is shaped as arepa and taken to the pan. Cook 5 min on each side over low heat.
    Cut them in half and fill with shredded chicken stew, cheese grill (let the cheese melt) or scrambled egg.

    PRESENTATION

    They can be accompanied with refried bay beans.

    TIPS

    You can put a spoonful of butter to give consistency to the dough.
