This recipe for chicken milanesa will be a new way of eating this type of cut very popular among Mexican palates, as they are stuffed and breaded. Although the milanesas can be of different types of meat such as beef, chicken or pork, stuffed or gratin, with this version you will prepare a filling with rajas and cheese, in addition to that you will learn how to breach chicken milanese with panko.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/2 cups onion, filleted
  • 1 1/2 cups poblano pepper, in slits
  • 1 cup whole corn kernels
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • 4 chicken milanesa (breaded)
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • 2 cups Oaxaca cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • enough toothpick
  • enough vegetal oil
  • enough broccoli, To accompany
  • enough carrot, To accompany

Preparation

Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the butter and onion; sauté a few minutes and add the poblano chile rajas and corn kernels, season with salt and pepper, and cook 10 minutes; Add the cream cheese. Reservation.
Season the milanesas with salt and pepper; stuffed with the rajas and oaxaca cheese, roll them up and secure them with chopsticks.
