Picosito chicken empanadas are the perfect entry for a meal with friends or family. They are delicious puff pastry stuffed with a rich picosito chicken, they are very tasty!

Ingredients

10 portions
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/4 onions, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups mashed tomatoes, with Chilpotle Del Fuerte®
  • 2 cups chicken breast, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 5 tablespoons wheat flour
  • 500 grams puff pastry
  • 1 cup manchego cheese, grated
  • 1 egg
  • 3 ladles sesame seed

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
Heat the oil in a medium skillet over medium heat, sauté the garlic and onion for 1 minute. Add the Tomato Puree with Chilpotle Del Fuerte®, the chicken and cook for 5 minutes. Salt pepper.
Sprinkle flour on the table and spread the puff pastry to 1cm thick. Cut the dough with a cookie cutter in the shape of a circle (medium) to form the empanadas. Fill with the chicken, add a little cheese, paint the edges with the beaten egg, close the empanada and place them on a baking sheet. Varnish with the egg and sprinkle sesame.
Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

PRESENTATION

Serve them on a wooden board.

TIPS

You can substitute sesame for black sesame seeds for a different presentation.
