This recipe for chicken stuffed with ham and cheese is ideal to prepare for the little ones in the house. This chicken breast stuffed with ham and breaded Manchego cheese is an easy, practical and delicious option for lunch at home and the perfect garnish to accompany it will be sautéed vegetables. Make your own homemade breadcrumbs to bread them with the hard salty bread that you have left over from the week, such as teleras or bolillos, just grate it and combine it with a little wheat or rice flour.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 4 chicken breasts, flattened and sheet
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • 4 slices ham
  • 12 manchego cheese, in little fingers
  • 1 egg
  • enough ground bread
  • enough vegetal oil, to fry
  • enough mixed vegetables, sauteed

Preparation

On a board, place the breast sheet and salt and pepper on both sides. Place a slice of ham, 3 cheese fingers and roll up. Reservation.
To bread, beat the egg in a large container and pass the chicken roll in it, try to cover it on all sides; then breaded on a plate with ground bread. Reservation.
On a frying pan with hot oil, fry the chicken roll over low heat, try to cook it at this temperature so that the chicken reaches the correct temperature and is not raw. Drain on absorbent paper and reserve.
Serve in an extended plate accompanied by sauteed vegetables.

PRESENTATION

Place the breast on an extended plate and serve with sauteed vegetables or salad.

TIPS

Use salty stale bread, such as teleras or bolillos, to make your own homemade breadcrumbs for breading, just grate it and combine it with a little wheat or rice flour.
