Recipe of chicken with vegetables and seasoned with a v8 juice sauce.

Ingredients

8 servings
  • 1 kilo of chicken leg fresh or a whole chicken
  • 1/4 of kilo of carrot cut in julienne
  • 1/4 of kilo of zucchini cut in julienne
  • 2 branches of celery cut in julienne
  • 1/4 of kilo of pea cool
  • 3 pieces of tomato medium, cut into strips
  • 1/2 piece of onion cut into thin slices
  • 1 piece of anaheim chili pepper cut in julienne
  • 2 pieces of vegetable juice V8
  • 1 piece of tomato puree
  • 1 teaspoonful of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

    Preparation

    Add the chicken pieces with salt and pepper and sauté in a saucepan.
    Add the tomato, onion and chili and let it make a sauce and then add the puree, letting it boil a little.
    Add a little water so it does not dry until the chicken is pre-cooked and the v8 is poured, so let it boil until the chicken is at the desired cooking point.
    Then add the carrot, let it boil 2 minutes and add the celery, boil for 2 minutes and add the pea and zucchini, add salt and pepper according to your liking.
    Boil 2 more minutes and turn off.

    TIPS

    To add the vegetables touch with a fork between them to know if they are pre-cooked, it is necessary that they are not soft enough so they do not grind.
