This recipe for chicken stuffed with ham and cheese is ideal to prepare for the little ones in the house. This chicken breast stuffed with ham and breaded Manchego cheese is an easy, practical and delicious option for mealtime at home and the perfect side dish to accompany it will be sauteed vegetables. Make your own homemade breadcrumbs to bake them with the hard salted bread that you have left over from the week, such as teleras or rolls, just grate it and combine it with some wheat flour or rice.

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 4 chicken breasts flattened and on sheet
  • to taste of Salt
  • to taste of black pepper
  • 4 slices of Ham
  • 12 Manchego cheeses in fingers
  • 1 egg
  • enough of ground bread
  • enough of vegetable oil to fry
  • enough of mixed vegetable sauteed

Preparation

On a board, place the breast and pepper sheet on both sides. Place a slice of ham, 3 fingers of cheese and roll. Reservation.
To breach, beat the egg in a large bowl and pass the chicken roll in it, try to cover it on all sides; then breaded on a plate with breadcrumbs. Reservation.
On a pan with hot oil, fry the chicken roll over low heat, try to cook at this temperature so that the chicken reaches the correct temperature and is not raw. Drain on absorbent paper and reserve.
Serve in an extended dish accompanied by sauteed vegetables.
