Preparation
For the buttermilk, mix the milk with the lemon juice, rest for 10 minutes and set aside.
Mix the paprika, the cayenne pepper, the onion powder, the garlic salt, the white pepper, the salt and the brown sugar. Add the chicken and cover with very well a spoon.
In a bowl beat the buttermilk with the egg. Add chicken pieces, bay leaves and marinate for 2 hours.
In a bowl add the flour, corn starch, corn flakes and baking powder.
Blend the chicken pieces with this mixture, taking care to cover them very well on all sides.
Heat the oil over medium heat and fry the chicken until golden brown and crispy, about 10 minutes. Drain on absorbent paper.
Serve hot and serve with mashed potatoes.
