Jamaican Flower Sauce Chicken

It is a different and very simple dish to prepare. The chicken takes slightly the flavor of the jamaica; giving it an incredible color and aroma. Surprise everyone with this incredible recipe, they can not stop eating.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of Jamaica flower
  • 3 pieces of onion cut into rings
  • 2 cloves of Garlic
  • 8 pieces of chicken leg, thigh or breast
  • 250 grams of nut chopped
  • 1 pinch of Salt
  • 1 pinch of Pepper
  • 1 pinch of fine herbs
  • 1 teaspoonful of cornstarch
  • 1/4 of Cup of Water

    Preparation

    The water boils and the flower of Jamaica boils. Cover and reserve.
    In a large skillet, fry the onion and when it is clear add the whole garlic. Remove the onion and reserve.
    In the same pan, seal the pieces of seasoned chicken. Blend the jamaica water and pour them in the pan with the chicken.
    Add chopped nuts and fine herbs. Let cook for 10 minutes. Add the corn starch diluted in water and let cook for more 5 minutes.
    At the time of serving add onion and accompany with white rice.
