Learn how to prepare this delicious pibil chicken inspired by typical Yucatan cuisine, it is very practical and delicious, its exquisite achiote marinade with juicy chicken accompanied by white rice will become your family favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup of Water
  • 1 Cup of Orange juice sour
  • 3 spoonfuls of Apple vinager
  • 100 grams of achiote
  • 1/4 of piece of onion
  • 1 tooth of Garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of Pepper
  • 1 teaspoonful of oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of cumin
  • 1 teaspoonful of Salt
  • 2 pieces of whole chicken without skin, cut into pieces
  • 1 piece of banana leaf
  • to taste of purple Onion pickled, to decorate

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
    Blend the water with orange juice, vinegar, achiote, onion, garlic, pepper, oregano, cumin and salt.
