Ckichen Tinga is one of the traditional Mexican recipes with a doubt. This is a chicken meal very easy to prepare, because of the few steps it takes to prepare it and and the economic and filing it is. This easy recipe is a great option being very quick to make any day of the week and even for a taco party.

  • enough Water
  • 1/4 onions
  • 1 head garlic
  • enough fresh coriander
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 6 tomatoes
  • 1/3 onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 220 grams chipotle chili
  • 1 cup chicken soup
  • 2 tablespoons vegetal oil
  • 2 onions
  • enough salt and pepper


Cook the chicken breast with the herbs and a piece of garlic for about 50 minutes or until is well cooked. Set the broth aside, and shred the chicken.
For the broth, cut the tomatoes into four sections and add them to the blender along with the onion, chipotle pepper, a cup of the chicken broth and salt and pepper. Blend until obtaining a well blended mixture .
Heat a pan and add the oil. Sauté the onion at low temperature until transparent.Add the broth, bring to a boil and let simmer about 20 minutes. Add the chicken, season to taste and let cook 10 more minutes. Serve and accompany with corn tostadas and beans.


Cook the tinga in a clay pot, which you can take directly to the table.
