Chicken tostados with mole is always an easy option to feed your family without many complications, you just have to dilute the mole paste in chicken sauce and give it a sweet touch with table chocolate, shredded chicken mix and ready ! You can serve them with beans, fresh cheese, cream, avocado and a touch of purple onion. You can use one of the many moles that exist, depending on the flavors that you like the most. In Mexico it is very common for mole to be the main course in special events. So prepare these rich chicken tostados with mole at the next opportunity you have; you will not regret it.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 4 cups chicken soup, for the mole
  • 1 cup mass, in pasta
  • 1 tablet chocolate table, for the mole
  • 1 pinch salt, for the mole
  • 1 chicken breast, cooked and shredded
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 8 corn tortilla chip
  • to taste sour cream
  • to taste fresh cheese, crumbled
  • to taste avocado, cut in a fan shape to decorate
  • to taste red onion, in rings to decorate

Preparation

Heat the chicken broth in a pot until it reaches a boiling point, dilute the mole paste in the broth and add the table chocolate, season with a little salt to your liking, cook for 10 minutes until it reduces. Add the shredded chicken and cook 5 more minutes.
On toast, spread beans, serve chicken with mole and serve with cream, fresh cheese, avocado and purple onion.

PRESENTATION

Serve with cheese, cream, red onion and a fan of avocado.

TIPS

You can add tomato sauce to cook the mole and be more tasty.
