Ingredients

8 portions
  • 1 jar Sweet and Sour Salsa Mango Cocina Mestiza®
  • 8 chickens
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 cup chicken consommé
  • 1/2 cups white wine
  • salt, to taste
  • black pepper, to taste

Preparation

Clean and season the pieces of chicken.
Grind in a blender with a little water, onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Pour this mixture into a large plastic bag and put the chicken. Stir well with the hands so that the chicken is covered and marinate for 1 to 6 hours.
In a pot where all the pieces of chicken fit, heat a little oil and butter. Place 3 pieces and brown on both sides. Place on servitoallas to absorb the excess oil and continue with the other pieces working from 3 to 3. Add oil and butter as necessary and keep the fire low so that the onion does not burn.
When finished, drain the excess oil from the pot and remove the remaining toasted particles. Return the pieces of chicken and pour the rest of the ingredients into the pot. Cover and cook on the stove over low heat moving the pieces so that they cook evenly. The mango sauce should be consumed until the pieces are glazed.

PRESENTATION

Accompany with rice.
