Ingredients

4 portions
  • 1 kilo chicken, legs and thighs
  • 5 jalapeño peppers
  • 1 white onion, filleted
  • broccoli, in small bunches
  • salt, aromatic herbs, pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • chicken broth cubes, chicken soup
  • 4 cloves garlic, filleted
  • 4 carrots, filleted

Preparation

Remove the skin from the chicken, wash it perfectly, the cuaresmeño peppers are lightly chopped with a fork without undoing them, just a few light bites.
In a saucepan we add the olive oil, let it heat a little and add the onion, garlic and once they are crystallized, the chicken is aged, it is well sealed. Add the chilies, carrots, a touch of thyme, marjoram and bay leaf.
Salt is added, a pinch of pepper.
Add a teaspoon and a half of Swiss knorr, cover and cook for 10 minutes. Before it is ready, add the broccoli in small bunches, cook for approximately 35 minutes or until the chicken is cooked.
There is little broth left because we can see that the chicken is cooked in its own juice and with the seasoned chicken it gives it an exquisite flavor.

PRESENTATION

We serve the chicken accompanied with the apple salad and a glass of white wine if you prefer. It is an excellent dish for good food.

TIPS

We can serve it with an apple salad with cream, walnut, raisins, pineapple. It is a plate of various colors and the aroma is delicious, it is prepared in a short time and because of its flavor it is a very rich dish.
