Ingredients

2 portions
  • 1 Vita + ® orange pouch
  • 1/2 cups apple vinegar
  • 1/2 cups raw sugar
  • 1/4 cups bee honey
  • 2 tablespoons Chile chipotle milled
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon onion, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • enough vegetal oil
  • 1 chicken breast, in halves, without skin or bone
  • enough salt
  • enough black pepper
  • 2 carrots, in thin strips
  • 2 oranges, in segments

Preparation

In a saucepan over medium heat, cook Vita + ® orange pouch with vinegar, sugar, honey, chipotle, garlic, onion, cumin and oregano and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and cook until it reduces. Cool slightly.
Blend the previous preparation until it is smooth and set aside.
In a frying pan over medium heat, heat the oil and seal the chicken breasts previously seasoned with salt and pepper, on both sides.
Once the chicken is browned on the outside, add the sauce and cook and bathe constantly until the chicken is cooked. When the chicken is ¾ of the cooking add the carrots to glaze.
When the chicken is ready and the carrots are cooked, add the orange segments, cook 1 more minute, rectify seasoning and serve.

PRESENTATION

Serve the chicken cut into slices ​​and with a side salad.

TIPS
