Here I share a classic recipe of my land, Sinaloa. It is classic for friends afternoons, accompanied by a refreshing baby.

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 1 kilo of whole chicken
  • 4 pieces of guajillo chili pepper
  • 1 piece of onion
  • 2 spoonfuls of oregano
  • 2 spoonfuls of thyme
  • 3 pieces of garlic
  • 1 glass of orange juice
  • 2 pieces of laurel
  • 1 Cup of White vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

    Preparation

    Blend all ingredients (except chicken).
    Marina the chicken with the previous preparation for 2 hours or all night.
    Turn on the charcoal, once the embers are white, roast the chicken.
    Cook for 10 minutes on each side.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve the chicken cut into pieces, accompanied by a red sauce, charro beans and some flour tortillas.

    TIPS

    Use mesquite charcoal to give it a better flavor.
