Apple Stuffed Chicken with Walnut

This apple-nut-stuffed chicken recipe is perfect for Christmas dinner, if you will have few guests and a turkey is too big. Try this roasted chicken with honey for any special gathering and turn your meal with its glaze and special flavor.   • 2 tablespoons honey, for the filling
  • 1/4 cups white wine, for the filling
  • 3 tablespoons butter, for the glaze
  • 1/2 cups Apple sauce, for the glaze
  • 1/2 cups orange juice, for the glaze
  • 1/4 cups chicken soup, for the glaze
  • 2 leaves bay (laurel), for the glaze
  • 2 pieces clove, for the glaze
  • 1 raja cinnamon, for the glaze
  • 1 piece (if it appears in the ingredient) anise, for the glaze
  • 1/4 cups honey, for the glaze
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder, for the glaze
  • 1/4 cups white wine, for the glaze
  • to taste salt, for the glaze
  • to taste black pepper, for the glaze

For the filling, in a bowl mix the apples together with the nut, ginger powder, thyme, honey and white wine until completely incorporated. Reservation.
For the glaze, in a saucepan over medium heat melt the butter, add the applesauce, the orange juice, the chicken stock and cook for a few minutes. Add the bay leaf, clove, cinnamon, anise, honey, garlic powder and white wine. Season with salt and pepper, cook 5 more minutes and reserve.
With the help of a hemp thread, tie the chicken legs, insert a stick in each wing so that they stay in place and fill the chicken with the mixture of apples and nuts.
In a pan greased with butter, place the stuffed chicken, add the onion around, the apple and the nut. Pour the glaze sauce and add the cinnamon sticks. Pepper and lid with aluminum. Bake at 200 ° C for 45 minutes.
Remove the chicken from the oven, uncover and varnish with honey, bake at 200 ° C for 15 minutes or until the skin browns. Remove from the oven again, place on an extended plate, serve with the apple slices, decorate with cinnamon and thyme.
