Chicken Stuffed with Apple with Walnut

This Nutty Apple Stuffed Chicken Recipe is perfect for Christmas dinner if you have few guests and a turkey is too big.   • 1/4 cups white wine, for the filling
  • 3 tablespoons butter, for the frosting
  • 1/2 cups Apple sauce, for the frosting
  • 1/2 cups orange juice, for the frosting
  • 1/4 cups chicken soup, for the frosting
  • 2 leaves bay (laurel), for the frosting
  • 2 pieces clove, for the frosting
  • 1 raja cinnamon, for the frosting
  • 1 piece (if it appears in the ingredient) anise, for the frosting
  • 1/4 cups honey, for the frosting
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder, for the frosting
  • 1/4 cups white wine, for the frosting

For the filling, in a bowl mix the apples together with the walnut, ginger powder, thyme, honey and white wine until fully incorporated. Reservation.
For the glaze, in a saucepan over medium heat melt the butter, add the applesauce, orange juice, chicken broth and cook for a few minutes. Add the bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon, anise, honey, garlic powder, and white wine. Season with salt and pepper, cook 5 more minutes and reserve.
With the help of a hemp thread, tie the chicken legs, insert a toothpick in each wing to keep them in place and fill the chicken with the mixture of apples and walnuts.
In a tray greased with butter, place the stuffed chicken, add the onion around it, the apple and the walnut. Pour in the sauce from the glaze and add the cinnamon sticks. Salt and pepper and cover with aluminum. Bake at 200 ° C for 45 minutes.
Remove the chicken from the oven, uncover and varnish with honey, bake at 200 ° C for 15 minutes or until the skin is golden. Remove again from the oven, place on an extended plate, serve with the apple slices, garnish with cinnamon and thyme.
