The ways to prepare chicken breast are endless and a simple and nutritious choice at mealtime. Try this recipe for chicken breast stuffed with nopales with corn, accompanied by a guajillo chili sauce. This dish is profitable and very complete for your whole family, since chicken is a great protein and cactus plants are an excellent source of fiber and vitamins A, B and B12.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 2 tablespoons vegetal oil
  • 1/4 cups onion, filleted
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 guajillo chili, cut into strips
  • 2 cups nopal, cooked and cut into strips
  • 1/4 cups whole corn kernels, yellow
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Knorr® Chicken Broth, granulated
  • 4 chicken milanesa (breaded) , 150 gc / u
  • 2 tablespoons vegetal oil
  • 2 cups Water, for the guajillo sauce
  • 3 tomatoes, for the guajillo sauce
  • 5 guajillo chilies, for the guajillo sauce
  • 1/4 onions, for the guajillo sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, for the guajillo sauce
  • 1 Cube Knorr® Chicken Broth
  • zucchini, with chayote, to accompany

Preparation

In a frying pan over medium heat, heat the oil, fry the onion, garlic, guajillo chili, add the nopales, corn kernels, oregano and add Knorr® Chicken Broth to season. Let cool and reserve.
Fill the milanesas with the nopales, roll them up and secure them with toothpicks.
In a frying pan over medium heat, heat the oil and cook the breasts for 10 minutes, or until they are cooked. Reservation.
For the guajillo sauce, boil the tomatoes with the guajillo chili, onion, garlic and Knorr® Chicken Broth until dissolved. Let cool and reserve.
Blend the previous preparation and then cook it in a pot over medium heat with oil, until it thickens.
On a plate serve a mirror of sauce, the Milanese and accompany with zucchini and chayotes.

PRESENTATION

On an extended plate, accompanied by rice.

TIPS

Close the milanesas with toothpicks very well, so that when you fry, the filling does not come out.
