Do you like to put coffee into desserts, certain recipes and more? We present a recipe for Coffee Marinade so that now your cuts of meat or chicken will have a spectacular flavor. This recipe for a Coffee Marilnade is made with coffee, garlic, black pepper, thyme and a touch of rosemary. This type of marinade is excellent for thick cuts like a steak fillet. Remember that even if you are going to marinate the meat, it is important to season with salt before cooking.

Ingredients

2 portions
  • 1 cup instant coffee
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cups thyme, powdered
  • 3 tablespoons fresh rosemary
  • 1/4 cups olive oil
  • 500 grams beef fillet, bound up
  • enough salt

Preparation

In a bowl mix the coffee with the garlic, the black pepper, the thyme, the fresh rosemary, the olive oil until obtaining a homogeneous mixture. Marinate the beef steak for 1 hour and reserve.
Season with salt and cook in a pan over medium heat for the desired term, moving constantly. Remove from the pan and rest for 10 minutes before cutting, serve with the chimichurri and fresh rosemary. Serve.

PRESENTATION

Accompany with chicmichurri and fresh rosemary.

TIPS

The marinade does not have salt, because it is hygroscopic and will dry out the meat over a long periods of marinating, however, remember to season the protein with salt just before cooking.
