Cordon Blue chicken breasts stuffed with ham and cheese.They are very tasty accompanied by cold soup or steamed vegetables.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 6 chicken breasts
  • 6 slices leg ham
  • 6 slices manchego cheese
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup ground bread
  • 1/2 cups oil
  • toothpicks

Preparation

Beat the egg.
Stir the bread crumbled with salt and pepper.
Place 1 slice of ham and one of cheese on each chicken breast.
Fold it in half as if it were a quesadilla and hold it with chopsticks.
Pass the chicken breast through the beaten egg mixture and then for breadcrumbs until they are well covered.
In a pan, fry them on both sides with oil until golden brown.

PRESENTATION

Cut them diagonally so that the filling can be seen and accompany them with cold soup or whatever else you like ....

TIPS

Add a little of Philadelpia cheese to the filling, you'll see that along with the ham and Manchego cheese it will taste delicious.
