Prepare this easy green pozole with shrimp and surprise everyone at home. This is one of the richest pozole variants out there, as the shrimp combine very well with the broth ingredients. This mixture of sea and earth will be the sensation of the night; do not stop trying.

This rich, easy green pozole with shrimp has a broth prepared with green tomato, cilantro, epazote and chile serrano that give it its intense color and flavor. These ingredients combined with meat and shrimp make this green pozole an unforgettable preparation.

Ingredients

6 servings
  • 3 liters of Water
  • 2 spoonfuls of Salt
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 3 cups of hominy pre cooked
  • 1 kilo of pork meat solid
  • 1/4 of piece of onion
  • 8 pieces of green tomato
  • 2 pieces of serrano pepper
  • 5 branches of fresh coriander
  • 2 branches of fresh epazote
  • 2 cups of medium shrimp
  • 1 Cup of onion finely chopped, garnish
  • 5 pieces of green lemon cut into quarters, garnish
  • 1 Cup of Romaine lettuce filleted, garnish
  • 1 Cup of radish sliced, garnished
  • 2 pieces of avocado diced, garnished
  • 1/2 Cup of pork rind chopped, garnish

    Preparation

    Cook the corn in boiling water with salt, garlic, onion and pork, until the corn burst and the meat is cooked.
    Blend tomatoes, chilies, cilantro and epazote with a little of the cooking liquid from the corn in the "salsa" function of your T-fal® InfinyForce blender.
    Add to the cooking of the corn, season and cook for 20 minutes more. In the last 5 minutes of cooking add the shrimp, so they do not overcook.
    Serve the pozole and accompany it with its garnish.

    PRESENTATION

    Accompany with chicharrón, avocado, radish, lettuce and cream.

    TIPS

    Do not abuse the epazote, as it may embitter the preparation.
