This filet mignon is wrapped in bacon and is very juicy. It can be ready in less than 20 minutes.

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 4 pieces of fillet mignon
  • to taste of Salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • Butters to fry

    Preparation

    Put the bacon on a plate with paper napkin to absorb the fat, cover it with another napkin and put in the microwave for 2 minutes, only to release a little fat.
    Let them cool and put them around each filet and hold with a toothpick.Season the beef with salt and pepper.
    Heat a pan over medium heat and when it is hot add 1 tablespoon of butter and seal the fillets on both sides, until golden brown and they look ready.
    Preheat the oven to 400ºF (200ºC).
    Put the fillets on a baking tray and at the time you are planning to eat them, cook them in the oven for a few minutes and let them stay at the desired doneness. Monitor it constantly so they do not burn.
    Let stand 5 minutes covered with aluminum foil and serve.

    TIPS

    To know if the beef is ready you can check it with a meat thermometer. Medium term is at 140-150ºF (60-65ºC).
