Ingredients

8 portions
  • 1 smoked ham, 2 kg
  • 1 cup Great Value® Mashed Sugar
  • 1/2 cups Pineapple Juice Great Value®
  • 2 whole cloves
  • 3 tablespoons basil, chopped
  • 1/4 cups white wine
  • 2 twigs basil

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
In a saucepan over medium heat heat the mashed sugar, add the pineapple juice, cinnamon, cloves, basil and white wine.
Leave to cook until it reduces and begins to thicken. Chill and reserve.
In a tray place the smoked ham, make diamond-shaped cuts on the ham and pour half of the glaze.
Bake for one hour. Let cool, cut into slices and serve with more glaze, garnish with basil leaves.
