Glazed Turkey Breast in Cranberry Sauce

The turkey is always a typical recipe for Christmas dinners, give a twist to traditional recipes and prepare this juicy baked turkey breast, with a bright glaze of dehydrated blueberries and cranberry juice. You will be fascinated!

Ingredients

  • 2 spoonfuls of Butter for the glaze
  • 1/4 of Cup of onion finely chopped, for glaze
  • 2 spoonfuls of Garlic finely chopped, for glaze
  • 2 spoonfuls of ginger finely chopped, for glaze
  • 1/2 Cup of honey for the glaze
  • 1/8 of teaspoonful of nail powder for the glaze
  • 1 piece of star anise for the glaze
  • 1 tablespoon of nutmeg for the glaze
  • 1 tablespoon of rosemary finely chopped, for glaze
  • 3 cups of Ocean Spray® Craisins® Dehydrated Cranberries for the glaze
  • 2 cups of Ocean Spray® Cranberry Classic® for the glaze
  • to taste of salt and pepper for the glaze and the breast
  • 1 piece of Turkey breast
  • 2 spoonfuls of oil

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
    For the Glaze, heat a pot over medium heat with the butter, cook the onion, garlic, add the ginger, honey, bald, star anise, nutmeg, rosemary, 3 cups of Ocean Spray® Craisins ® Dehydrated Cranberries, and the Ocean Spray® Cranberry Classic® juice, season to your liking and cook until the cranberries soften. Chill and reserve. Cool slightly
    Blend the previous preparation until a smooth, shiny sauce is obtained. Reservation.
    On a board, flange the turkey breast with hemp twine, season with salt and pepper.
    Heat a pan over medium heat with the oil and seal the breast on all sides, add the sauce and glaze constantly. Remove from the pan and place in a tray, cover with the cranberry sauce, and bake for 30 minutes constantly bathing to achieve a perfect glaze.
    Remove the breast from the oven and slice into thin slices. Serve on a plate and accompany with Christmas salad.

    PRESENTATION

    Cut the breast and serve with salad or pumpkin puree.

    TIPS
