Green curry is a variation of the traditional yellow curry that is used to eating in Thailand. This recipe is very rich because it combines spices, herbs and coconut milk.

Ingredients

3 servings
  • 500 grams of beef steak cut into thick cubes
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 piece of thai green chili pepper chopped
  • 1 piece of onion finely chopped
  • 1 Cup of fresh coriander chopped
  • 1/2 Cup of fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 piece of lemon juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon of cumin powder
  • 1/4 of tablespoon of thyme
  • 1/4 of tablespoon of Salt
  • 1 can of coconut milk
  • 1 piece of Red bell pepper cut in julienne

    Preparation

    Place garlic, cilantro, onion, chili, parsley, olive oil, lemon juice, cumin, tomato and salt in a food processor. Process until you get a paste.
    Place the cubes of beef or chicken and the pepper in a bowl with the green curry paste. Mix well, cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
    When you are ready to cook your hot saucer a large skillet over medium heat.
    Add the squares of beef or chicken and the pepper with the green curry to the pan. Cook until the meat is well sealed.
    Add the coconut milk and mix. Cook for 30 minutes over medium heat and serve.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve the platon decorated with chopped chives or shredded coconut.

    TIPS

    This recipe is even better if you leave marinating the beef from a night before.
