Juicy Turkey with Butter and White Wine

Ingredients

10 portions
  • 1 turkey, 5 to 6 kg
  • 1 baguette, for the filling
  • 2 celeries, Finely chopped for filling
  • 1 onion, Finely chopped for filling
  • 1 clove garlic, Finely chopped for filling
  • 2 cups butter, at room temperature
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped for butter
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, for butter
  • 2 tablespoons fine herbs, for butter
  • 2 tablespoons thyme, for butter
  • 3 tablespoons salt, for butter
  • 1/2 cups white wine, for butter
  • 5 apples
  • 1/3 cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cups white wine
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Preparation

In a bowl add butter with rosemary, garlic, thyme, fine herbs, salt and pepper, mix until all the ingredients are incorporated. Separate the mixture in half and reserve a part.
Place the turkey in a pan or baking tray, tie the turkey legs with hemp string stuffed with the bread mixture, and cover with the butter you made earlier. Place a blanket of sky on the turkey and melt the rest of the butter in a pan and add the white wine. Then completely bathe the turkey with that butter.
Bake for 3 hours at 200 ° C, remove the turkey from the oven, remove the turkey blanket, serve on a platter and decorate with fresh rosemary, apple, orange and cherries.

PRESENTATION

In an extended dish accompanied by applesauce.

TIPS

It is important that the turkey is completely dry so that the butter can stick to it.
