Marinated Pork Steak

This dish of Pork Steak Adobado, is a very easy and fast Mexican recipe to make. Adobo is a sauce that is characterized by being fried and made with dried chiles, such as pasilla or guajillo. For this preparation we decided to add a garnish of guacamole. Prepare this Adobado Pork Steak for your next event. You can prepare some delicious tacos with this steak when accompanied by some delicious corn tortillas.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 6 guajillo chilies, deveined and seedless, soaked
  • 2 ancho chili peppers, deveined and seedless, soaked
  • 1/2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoons oregano
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cups apple vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 kilo pork, in the steak
  • 2 tablespoons oil, for frying
  • 1 avocado, for the guacamole
  • 1/4 cups onion, finely chopped, for the guacamole
  • 1/4 cups onion, finely chopped, for the guacamole
  • 1/4 cups tomtato, cut in cubes, for the guacamole
  • 3 tablespoons serrano pepper, finely chopped, for the guacamole
  • 2 tablespoons fresh coriander, finely chopped, for the guacamole
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice, for the guacamole
  • enough salt
  • enough black pepper

Preparation

Blend the chilies with the cumin, pepper, oregano, garlic, apple cider vinegar, salt.
Pour the marinade over the meat, and marinate for 2 hours.
For the guacamole, in a bowl mash the avocado until obtaining a puree. Mix with onion, tomato, chile, cilantro, lemon juice and season to your liking.
In a pan over medium heat, heat the oil, cook the seasoned meat with a little salt and pepper. When golden brown, remove and serve with guacamole.

PRESENTATION

Serve with the guacamole and accompany with rice, beans, corn tortillas and fresh water.

TIPS

Apple cider vinegar is highly acidic, so it is a natural way to soften the meat.
