Meatballs in Caldillo de Chipotle

The meatballs are a classic dish for the day to day. This recipe of meatballs with tomato sauce and a touch of chipotle is perfect for lunchtime. Accompany them with white rice or beans.

Ingredients

  • 400 grams of ground beef
  • 1/4 of piece of onion finely chopped
  • 2 spoonfuls of coriander finely chopped
  • 1 piece of egg
  • 1 teaspoonful of Salt
  • 1/4 of Cup of ground bread
  • 3 spoonfuls of oil
  • 3 pieces of tomato for the caldillo
  • 60 grams of onion for the caldillo
  • 1 piece of Garlic tooth for the caldillo
  • 2 spoonfuls of marinated chipotle chile for the caldillo
  • 1 Cup of chicken soup for the caldillo
  • 1 teaspoonful of Salt for the caldillo

    Preparation

    In a bowl, mix the meat with onion, cilantro, egg, salt and bread crumbs. Form the meatballs.
    In a pan over medium heat, heat the oil and seal the meatballs. Reservation.
    For the caldillo, blend all the ingredients except salt.
    Fry the caldillo in the same pan of the meatballs and cook over low heat and cover for 20 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked. Season with salt

    PRESENTATION

    Accompany with white rice.

    TIPS

    You can put egg or sausage in the center of the meatballs.

    Lo hice y la verdad está súper rico, solo que me quedó un poquito salado, omitiré para la próxima la ultima cucharadita de sal y pues yo le puse en el centro queso crema y muy delicioso, gracias por la receta! :)
