  • 125 grams ground pork
  • 1/2 cups parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups ground bread
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon thyme
  • 1 tablespoon basil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Great Value® salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Extra Special Olive Oil®
  • 1 cup Great Value® Traditional Pasta Sauce
  • 6 baguettes, mini
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted, to varnish the bread
  • 2 Extra Special® Gentle Garlic Cloves with Fine Herbs, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups parmesan cheese, grated

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
For the meatballs, in a large bowl, mix the beef with the pork, the cheese, the garlic, the onion, the ground bread, the spices and the egg. Season with salt and pepper and form small meatballs with your hands. Reservation.
Heat the olive oil over medium heat in a deep frying pan and seal the meatballs. Add the pasta sauce, let it boil and reduce the heat, cover and cook 15 to 20 minutes or until cooked. Rectify seasoning.
Hollow the bread in the middle with the help of a knife, without reaching the edges, removing the crumb.
Varnish the inside of each bread with the melted butter and sprinkle a little of the garlic on the fine herbs. Stuffed with meatballs and a little sauce. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top.
Place the loaves in a baking dish and grill in the oven 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the crust of the bread, slightly hard.
Remove from oven, garnish with strawberry basil and serve immediately.
