This simple version of teriyaki, a mixture of vegetables and chicken seasoned with the typical teriyaki sauce.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 pinches salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1/2 onions
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 pumpkins
  • 1/4 green bell peppers
  • 1 red pepper, or yellow pepper
  • 5 tablespoons teriyaki sauce, to glaze
  • 3 tablespoons teriyaki sauce, to marinate
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetal oil
  • 1 pinch sesame seed

Preparation

Heat the oil in a pan over high heat.
Season the chicken and cut it into strips.
When the oil is hot, add the garlic and the chicken strips and bring the flame over medium heat.
When the chicken is half cooked add the vegetables in this order first the onion and the carrot, moving from time to time, as these are softened, add the pepper and pumpkin, moving also from time to time until the latter manage to soften as well.
Then add the sauces, mix everything and move from time to time, rectify the seasoning and the consistency of the sauce, until everything is well cooked.

PRESENTATION

Serve on a bed of white rice and sprinkle sesame on top, accompany with a glass of good iced tea.

TIPS

- You can also use meat and shrimp, individually or together to prepare what would be a mixed teriyaki. - In the same way you can use as many vegetables as you like, as long as you do not miss the essence of the dish, which is the oriental style.

Michas gracias por la receta estuvo muy rico.... Batalle con la salsa teriyaki pero termine haciéndola de manera casera es muy rica ...

Deliciosa yo solo prepare las verduras y al final solo añadi palomitas de pollo para acompañar... siempre ando contra reloj
