Sliced ​​pork trotters can be eaten cold or warm. They are delicious and perfect to enjoy at home with the family. Try them!

Ingredients

6 servings
  • 500 grams of pig trotters
  • 1/2 piece of onion
  • 1 1/2 cups of Water
  • 5 grams of rosemary
  • 2 grams of laurel
  • 2 grams of thyme
  • 2 grams of Salt
  • 1/2 piece of onion sliced ​​for the vinaigrette
  • 3 pieces of jalapeno pepper for the vinaigrette
  • 1/2 piece of carrot sliced ​​for the vinaigrette
  • 1 Cup of White vinegar for the vinaigrette
  • 1/2 Cup of oil the necessary for the vinaigrette

    Preparation

    Put the pork trotters in an express pot, along with the salt, onion and herbs, they are approximately cooked for 35 minutes, when the pot begins to be heard, (this time depends on which city you live in, the north of the country, leave them 1 hour).
    On the other hand put the onion in oil, carrots and chilies, leave them until you see that the carrot is a little soft, remove and put a whole container with the vinegar. Let it rest so that the flavors mix well.
    When the pork trotters are ready (they should be very tender) put them in the vinaigrette preparation, along with the herbs and let it impregnate for about 20 minutes, then remove the excess of viangreta if it is left over.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve them with a few slices of warm bread.
