Ingredients

10 portions
  • 1 1/2 kilos lard
  • 1 kilo pork rib
  • 1 kilo Pork Meat, solid
  • 1/2 oranges
  • 1 orange, cut in half
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cups salt
  • 1 bunch aromatic herbs
  • 1 tablespoon peppercorn
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 onions
  • enough corn tortilla
  • to taste fresh coriander, finely chopped, to accompany
  • to taste onion, finely chopped, to accompany
  • to taste lemon, cut in half, to accompany
  • to taste green sauce, raw

Preparation

In a pressure cooker, place the butter and heat the pot until it melts completely. Add the rib and the solid pig.
Add the orange juice, the orange, the evaporated milk, the salt, the herbs, the peppers, the garlic and the onion.
Close the pot and cook for 1 hour or until the meat is perfectly cooked.
Prepare taquitos of carnitas, accompany with cilantro, onion, green sauce and lemon.

PRESENTATION

Prepare some tacos with carnitas and serve with cilantro, onion and lemon.

TIPS

Chop and brown the carnitas in a comal or pan to have a richer flavor.

Ya las hice, pero creo que es necesario agregar más líquido, ya que este desapareció y se quemó la manteca, salieron muy doradas, y demasiado perfumadas, la siguiente vez que las prepare será con un poco más de líquido, menos tiempo y menos hierbas de olor. Pero es buena la receta.
