You have never tried a burger as spectacular as this one, made with delicious pork, juicy covered with a crust of the new and spectacular Barbecue Sauce with chipotle and spices, you will be unable to resist. Pork belly meat has a layer of fat that adds a lot of juiciness and flavor to your burger, so it will be a new way to prepare your burger and try new flavors.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 2 kilos pork belly
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder, for the pork belly
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, finely chopped, for the pork belly
  • 1 tablespoon chili flake, for the pork belly
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder, for the pork belly
  • salt, for the pork belly
  • pepper, for the pork belly
  • 1 bottle San Marcos® chipotle barbecue sauce, for the pork belly (350 g)
  • 1 cup red cabbage, finely chopped, for the salad
  • 1 cup carrot, for the salad
  • 1/2 cups sour cream, for the salad
  • 1/2 cups mayonnaise, for the salad
  • burger buns
  • 2 tablespoons Mustard Prepared with chipotle San Marcos®, To present
  • French fries, segment, to present
  • ears corn, yellow to present

Preparation

In a bowl mix the barbecue sauce with San Marcos® chipotle, add garlic powder, ginger, chili flake, cumin powder, salt and pepper. Reservation.
Place the pork belly in a baking dish and with the help of a brush, spread the sauce until the meat is completely covered, cover with aluminum foil and bake for 90 minutes, at 190 ° C.
Remove the foil and bake for 30 more minutes at 190 ° C. Let the meat rest for 15 minutes before cutting.
On a board, cut the pork belly into slices and reserve.
For the salad, in a bowl mix the purple cabbage with the carrot, the sour cream and the mayonnaise, season with salt and pepper, and reserve.
On a slice of hamburger bread, spread the Prepared Mustard with San Marcos® chipotle, place the slices of pork belly, add the coleslaw and cover with the hamburger bun. Serve with potato wedges and yellow corn.

TIPS

You can deflam the cabbage with ½ cup of vinegar for 30 minutes if you want to eliminate the strong flavor. The layer of fat in the pork belly adds flavor and juiciness to the meat, in addition to making an irresistible crust of flavor.
