This quick and easy recipe for Pork Chops in Green Sauce is an excellent option to serve as a main course any day you don't know what to cook. Ingredients

4 servings
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 1/4 of piece of onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 8 pieces of green tomato in halves
  • 2 pieces of habanero pepper
  • 1/4 of Cup of coriander
  • 1 teaspoonful of sea salt
  • 2 pieces of allspices
  • 1/2 Cup of chicken soup
  • 1 Cup of cambray potato cooked and halved
  • 1 Cup of nopal cooked and diced
  • enough of Salt
  • enough of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 4 pieces of pork chop smoked
  • enough of Corn tortillas to accompany
  • enough of bean to accompany

    Preparation

    For the green sauce, in a deep frying pan heat the oil and fry the onion, garlic, tomatoes and chilies until softened. Add the cilantro, the epazote, the coarse salt, the pepper and the broth, cook for 10 to 15 minutes more or until the liquid is reduced. Cool slightly
    Blend the above until obtaining a smooth sauce and cook in a pot for 10 more minutes, add the potatoes and cactus, continue the cooking 5 minutes, season to taste and set aside.
    In a pan heat the oil and seal the chops on both sides, season with salt and pepper.
    Serve on a plate a pork chop and cover with green sauce, decorate with epazote leaves. Accompany with tortillas and refried beans.

    TIPS

    Cook the tomatoes very well until they melt so that the green sauce does not remain acidic.

    Creo que están un poquito mal en cuanto a la cocción de los tomates. Es al contrario de lo que dicen... Solo se dejan hasta que cambien de color xq si se dejan mucho se acidifica la salsa. Pero uds son los expertos. Yo esto lo he sabido desde hace varios años!!! Comprobadísima la teoría!! Saludos.
