Ingredients

6 portions
  • 6 pork chop
  • 1 bunch chard
  • 1 onion, girl
  • 1 tomtato
  • 1 can pickled chili
  • cumin, to taste
  • salt, to taste
  • black pepper, to taste

Preparation

Fry the chops on both sides in a frying pan until they are golden brown.
Add the sliced or filleted onion to the chops.
Chop the tomato into cubes and add it to the stew, season with salt, cumin and pepper and fry everything.
Once the tomato and onion are soft, add the chard, coarsely chopped and cook.
Finally, add the whole can of cured serrano peppers, with the juice, onion and carrot that they bring, bring to a boil and remove from the heat.

PRESENTATION

Serve on a plate with beans from the pot and accompanied by a bowl of watery pasta soup or serve on a plate with white or red rice and the soup of your choice!

TIPS

I always recommend getting the meat in reliable establishments, remove the fat as much as possible and use olive oil when frying. Swiss chard can be substituted for any other quelite such as spinach, purslane or the one of your preference.
