Smoked Chops in Green Sauce

This dish of chops in green sauce accompanied by nopales is perfect to prepare and pamper your family. It is fast and easy. You will not regret.

Ingredients

3 portions
  • 6 smoked pork chops
  • 5 green tomatoes
  • 1 cup nopal, chopped and cooked
  • 1 bunch fresh coriander
  • 2 branches epazote
  • 1/4 onions
  • 2 serrano peppers
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • to taste salt and pepper

Preparation

Fry the chops in oil and reserve.
Blend tomatoes, onion, cilantro and chile serrano.
In a pan with little oil, place the chops, add the nopales and fry for 3 minutes.
Add the liquefied sauce, the epazote branches and a little salt and pepper. Cook for 5 more minutes.

PRESENTATION

Accompany beans, mashed potatoes or rice according to your taste.

TIPS

If you want the sauce to be more abundant, add a little water and a little chicken broth when you liquefy it.
