Pork Tenderloin in Orange Sauce for Christmas

Ingredients

6 servings
  • 1 1/2 kilos of pork tenderloin cleansed
  • 2 pieces of onion slices
  • 4 pieces of orange
  • 2 spoonfuls of Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves of garlic chopped
  • 1/2 Cup of White wine
  • 1 branch of thyme
  • Salt
  • black pepper

    Preparation

    Put a little oil in a pan and brown the loin, dry it and put it on a platter. In the same pan brown the onion and chopped garlic and put the back on top
    The juice is extracted from the oranges, the mustard is dissolved and the white wine, salt, pepper and thyme are added
    Add the loin and lid. Cook with soft light until the tenderloin is soft and the onion almost spoiled (approximately 1 hour). Turn off and let cool
    Take out the loin and slice. Squeeze the sauce, if it is very light, thick with a teaspoon of cornstarch and empty the meat

    PRESENTATION

    It is served very hot with mango chutney, sweet potato puree or french fries.

    TIPS

    Accompany this dish with a Chardonnay wine.
